NUTRITIOUS PRODUCTS PREPARED SPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN

Sodexo gives food service with quality service understanding in Charles de Gaulle France High School for more than 10 years. Menus are prepared with dietitian by Sodexo team and submitted to school authorities. The menus are arranged by the decisions taken at the menu commission meeting that is held every 2 or 3 months on average.

While preparing meals, all details like age group of children, energy requirements needed during school time are taken into consideration.

Fresh, unmixed products grown in their seasons is preferred, Ready products like further processed meat and chicken, instant soup, sweet-powder, flavorings, syrup-juice aren’t used, all foods are prepared, cooked and serve by Sodexo personnel in school kitchen daily by preserving the nutritional value.

FOOD SECURITY IN SCHOOL

Used raw materials has national and international quality standard certificates and they are certified by ministry. Raw materials are controlled in acceptance, storage made daily and results of product controls are recorded. All preparation and cooking stages of foods and final control results before service are recorded and all process are followed. Witness sample taken from meals are hidden for 72 hours.

Water used are controlled periodically, periodical works are made to ensure hygiene and equipment used and areas to control against insects and other harmful things.

Our personnel take food security educations suitable for area that our personals work and a lot of educations to develop occupational qualification are issued for them. According to HACCP principles, our personals work by using bonnet, gloves, armlet and mask in all stages determined as critical control point. Health controls of our personals are followed in line with relevant legislations periodically.

HOW MUST CHILDREN FEED?

Sodexo prepares some content for families to have information about their children's diet at school and the foods that they should consume at home.

In these studies, following information is included:

  • School menu
  • Food group needs according to age of children
  • Offers about food groups required children to take out of school

Studies are arrived at families with brochures and school websites.
